Denise Tierney's journey to better mental, physical and emotional health with the Habits for Health programme.
Denise is a graduate of the Habits for Health programme (previously Recalibrate Wellbeing), an initiative she heard about through work at Exyte Hargreaves. Her reason for joining was to find balance in her own wellbeing and to help those around her, including her colleagues, friends, and family.
Denise, by her own admission, says that although there were initial concerns around prioritising herself and the Habits for Health programme due to very challenging personal life circumstances at the start, she felt it was an ‘extremely helpful and beneficial support mechanism at a difficult time in her life.’
In a recent interview with Lead Wellbeing Coach, Grant Payne, Denise discussed how her journey has given her an insight into health, happiness, and the power of introspection. Denise shares how her journey has reshaped her thoughts and beliefs around nutrition and the benefits of reflective thinking and discussion.
Exyte Hargreaves is a pioneering UK leader in the construction engineering of HVAC and a specialist in ventilation systems for safety-critical facilities. Each of the 12 training modules is clear and easy to follow with a reflective questionnaire, training video and a daily 1% Progress Experiment. Whether you are looking for a company-wide solution or providing targeted support for managers or teams we have a programmme to suit your requirements
Empowering individuals with the tools, resources and belief required to achieve sustainable change. Habits for Health uses the four foundational wellbeing cornerstones to inspire small daily changes that bring transformational results.
The wellbeing of your employees is the foundation on which your business's long-term success rests. Unmotivated and overworked staff are prone to delivering low-quality work, while a healthy and looked-after team will be motivated and capable of producing their best results. After all, people spend a third of their lives at work, so it's essential to create an environment that fosters fulfillment and values their contribution.
Regardless of the size or type of workplace, a health and wellbeing programme can make a huge difference. Introduce the Habits for Health programme and create a company culture that incorporates and cultivates wellbeing as a mainstay.
Habits for Health is an online wellbeing programme that meets employees where they are at and helps get them to where they want to be - feeling great!
